Soundproof
Music journalist Tom Harrison recalls the Georgia Straight's Battle Of The Bands; and explains the genesis of trail-blazing cable TV show Soundproof. (Note: Webisodes are not scenes from the Bloodied But Unbowed documentary film; they consist of extended interviews, outtakes, and material shot specifically for thepunkmovie.com)

Hey, Pineapple-head!
Along with CiTR, Nite Dreems and Soundproof were like oxygen for a select small cluster of suffocated high-school teens stuck way out in Richmond, too young to see the gigs and unable to find a lot of the day's music.
Dave and Buzz were also the first guys to show my cartoons, which I sent in unsolicited in the hopes of being a part of the action in any way I could. I'd draw mildly insulting caricatures usually at Dave's and his fluffy hairdo's expense, which the two seemed to get a kick out of. These fleeting bits of exposure helped me get my first comic strip, "Wombat" into CiTR's Discorder.
I've always felt a debt of gratitude to Dave and Buzz, so if you're out there - thanks!
