I`m so glad this site exists.
I came into the Vancouver punk scene a little late, 1979, but it was a life changer.
From the time The Critics played a lunch hour concert at our highschool, my friends and I were bitten by the band bug.
We managed to play the Budhha numerous times, and opened for Shanghai Dog and Corsage.
I wouldn`t trade my memories of the Young Canadians and Subhumans live for anything.
I still have my collection of Snot Rags and Public Enemy`s.
looking for the tee shirt and the three disc set. will you be printing anymore of either of these products?
Hey Mike. Get in contact with us via gmail. thanks. BBU peeps want to talk with you.
Hi Suzane. Why don't you do something on the under ground disco which morphed into the New Wave scene in Vancouver. The two ran parallel. One could not have lived with out the other. From that was born the major international visual artist that are still highly reveared today. Jeff Wall,Rodney Graham,John Anderson,David Ostrem the list goes on and it all was conceived by the punk new wave scene.
Thanks Suzanne,Mike Roberts.
